Insomnia Sound Bible - Track #16

Calling Mr. Stratosphere [OFFLINE] (mp3 192k, 6:54)

Climbed up the mountain
and I stoned myself stoned.
Underwent certain extemporaneous processes of transformation then went overload.
Became an ad-man phrophet with an anual fee.
Blinders ain't cheap,
but the roadmap is free.

Insomnia Sound Bible - Track #14

Where Do You Bleed [OFFLINE] (mp3 192k, 7:45)

Do I touch you?
Do I mold you like clay?
I listen to you speak,
can't hear what you say.
Where do you bleed?

Insomnia Sound Bible - Track #12

Chickenhead Goes Amok [OFFLINE] (mp3 192k, 3:16)

shoulda coulda woulda
don't make the deal more done
you missed me by a mile
but who's counting past one
and I'm a few bucks short of fifty
with my head in the clouds
and I'm long gone past gettin outta this crowd and Chickenhead's goin on way too loud.

I got an ink blot brother
calling on the phone
sometimes you feel so alive that you forget you're alone and I'm heavin hot air at midnight with my brain on fire and I'm screeching down the road on four flat tires and Chickenhead's going out under the wire

I got a heavy metal hippie
who's got the hot's on for a dove.
Go paste a fortune cookie message
in your scrapbook of love.
In a no-show resurrection
on a triple dog dare.
and the space-time fabric has got a slight tear and Chickenhead's going on way out there.

I got nine lives stashed down a one way street I got a mule's head heart, but I'm quick on my feet.
so I'll lay it right down for as long as it lasts in this podunk-strip-show-one-girl-town and Chickenhead's going on nowhere fast.

Insomnia Sound Bible - Track #11

Twiddle [OFFLINE] (mp3 192k, 6:20)

I sleep away the day to sing a lullaby that helps me look away from what I covet best. You can rest in my nest.

Insomnia Sound Bible - Track #8

Cahoozle Blooze [OFFLINE] (mp3 192k, 5:28)

CAHOOZLE: (ka-hoo-zl) a distorted or comical form of chaos.

Example: After Dan drank the bottle of tequila he created a cahoozle wherever he went.

Insomnia Sound Bible - Track #7

Ezekial Inchworm [OFFLINE] (mp3 192k, 5:15)

Ezekial was a songwriting prophet. He saw visions of a wheel within a wheel. As a diferent song goes: "Ezekiel saw a wheel, way up in the middle of the air; the big wheel ran by faith and the little wheel ran by the grace of God, a wheel in a wheel, away in the middle of the air." He was supposedly taken away by angels and shown horror and glory which existed beyond space/time. Ezekial knew about the word "simultaneous."

An inchworm is a one-dimensional being. It has no concept of "depth" or "width." To it, the world is an ever-edible line without a path. An inchworm thinks that the leaf it is eating is moving toward it, rather than the "other way."

Standing on a wheel and I'm moving where I'm at.
I'm inching toward the sun and the ground is inching back.
I've got space-time blinders, a terrestrial form for a hyde.
I'm a chemical reaction out on a joy-ride.

Insomnia Sound Bible - Track #4

Lip-synching At Zero Gravity [OFFLINE] (mp3 192k, 12:01)

The difference between "in here" and "out there" is only a matter of acceptance.
[Don’t think about this unless you have to…consciousness isn't necessary].

“Vaguely molding into deep sustain
and sitting in a picture frame.
Just sit beneath the sun, and you'll feel your body start to way a ton in a bubble that becomes your mind and you'll start to find that you follow blind salvation.

I can't quite get the words out...”

Cough Up the Life Units [OFFLINE] (mp3 192k, 4:07)

How many jellybeans do you think's in that jar?
You're a geometric genius, THAT'S what you are!
If you can guess how many beans are behind that glass, we might let you share 'em with the rest of the class.

Insomnia Sound Bible - Track #2

Freak Out And Die [OFFLINE] (mp3 192k, 4:03)

I used to sleepwalk when I was a child. Sometimes I would try and leave the house. Other times I would find a room or a nook and stand there with my eyes open until my someone found me.
One night when I was around 7, I wandered down the basement stairs to my little area and wrote the words "freak out and die" in pencil on the wall, then stood. My brother told me what happened the next day (my parents never said a word about it). They eventually painted over the wall when I was 27.

Insomnia Sound Bible - Track #1

Greetings human primate incarnations!

Every Wednesday for the next 16 weeks, we will be posting one track from the much requested record, "Insomnia Sound Bible"

It features some of the more "psychologically accessible" Eddie the Rat songs as played by the 12-piece group. It documents over 60 people for 3 years through 4 houses in various mental states. It cost our wizard-engineer more little hairs on his perfect insect head than is right. Before we cast our digital lot with the scoundrels on iTunes, etc...we offer it to you - dear Listener - for FREE.

Track One: Sunny's Up All Night [OFFLINE] (mp3 192k, 2:16)
